Gameplay
In Top Drives, the game concept is fundamentally different from traditional racing simulators. Your role is not as a pilot, but rather as a strategist and fleet manager. Key tasks include analyzing the technical characteristics of cars and selecting the best cars for specific race conditions. Each competition requires a special set of parameters: somewhere acceleration is more important, somewhere off-road capability. The built-in mod at our link will help you get an advantage before the start of the race.
The game offers a variety of competition modes:
- Straight line sprints.
- Karting tracks with lots of turns.
- Off-road racing.
- Races in rainy conditions.
- Slalom and other tests.
It is important to understand that you do not control the car directly during the race. The result depends entirely on the correct choice of car for specific track conditions. The structure of the gameplay is divided into levels, each of which contains five unique competitions. Decide on a specific task, the composition of rival cars and track conditions. Based on this, you need to choose the best car from your collection. After choosing a car, the race takes place automatically. You watch what is happening, hoping that your decision is correct.
Victories are rewarded with various bonuses: in-game currency, cards with new cars and spare parts for upgrading existing cars. Gradually, you will be able to expand and improve your car fleet, opening up access to more complex competitions. The strategic element of the game is the wise distribution of resources: which cars to improve first, which to save for special races, and which ones, perhaps, should be gotten rid of to get additional resources.
