Description
Standoff 2 0.35.0 is a major update for the popular mobile shooter. The game now features even more weapons, maps, and modes, and battles are more dynamic. You can play with friends or compete against other players around the world. The goal is to compete with your teammates against opponents, earn points, purchase skins, and climb the leaderboards. Briefly about the update
- Hanami is an updated version of the Sakura map. It’s cleaner, more convenient, and faster to play. A compact version called Hanari has been created for faster Team Deathmatch and Arms Race modes.
- Bridge and Yard have received significant changes to their center and key locations. Lab has been removed from some modes, and Sakura has been temporarily removed from the main roster, but its scores will remain.
- We’ve added the retro-style Charm Pack: Rewind keychain collection. A trophy shop has also been added—complete seasonal challenges to earn tokens and exchange them for items. Rewards include a special AWM box.
- The new Mallard sniper rifle has arrived in the armory. It features two rounds, a quick reload, and a convenient scope. It’s cheaper than the AWM, but still deadly at long range.
- The main new feature is the Heist mode. Two teams attempt to collect 500,000 in-game coins in five minutes. The money must be deposited at designated points. The winner is the one who reaches the goal first or is ahead when time runs out.
- Matches now have fewer rounds. In “Bomb Plant,” you need to win 6 rounds, while in “Competitive,” you need 8. This feature emphasizes tension in every game, but with a more dynamic approach.
- Weapon balance has also been reworked. The Akimbo Uzi has been made weaker, the M4 has been buffed (increased damage and rate of fire), and the M110 has been made cheaper and more suitable for its role.
Tips for getting started with 0.36.0
- Try the Mallard for quick buys, the M110 for long-range positions, and the M4 as a general-purpose weapon.
- Play Hanami to explore the map and level up your Battle Pass faster.
- For each map, assemble a set of grenades: 3 smoke grenades, 2 flashbangs, and 1 Molotov cocktail. Practice throwing them in advance.
- In short matches, think through scenarios for the first rounds: a quick entry, a feint, a late split, or an economical capture.
